This page lists items and content that may not be offered for sale, displayed or otherwise made available through seanoor.market (the "Marketplace"). The list is illustrative; the Operator may classify additional categories as prohibited at any time, in its sole discretion. Listing a prohibited item is a material breach of the Seller Terms and may lead to immediate suspension or termination of the seller account.
1. Religious and political content
- The Holy Quran, the Bible, the Torah and any religious commentary thereon, except where the Operator's Religious Content Policy expressly permits.
- Items that disrespect any religion, religious figure, sacred text or symbol.
- Political propaganda, items mocking the Sultanate of Oman, the Royal Family or any other recognised state.
2. Goods restricted under Omani law
- Alcohol of any kind, alcoholic beverages and brewing equipment intended for alcohol production.
- Tobacco products, e-cigarettes, vapes, shisha and related accessories.
- Narcotics, psychotropic substances, precursors and drug paraphernalia.
- Weapons (firearms, edged weapons over a regulated length, replicas, airsoft and paintball markers if not properly licensed), ammunition and munitions.
- Explosives, fireworks and pyrotechnics.
3. Public morals
- Pornographic, sexually explicit or obscene material in any form.
- Gambling devices, lottery tickets, betting services and chance-based monetary games.
- Adult products and toys.
4. Health and safety
- Pharmaceuticals, prescription medicines and medical devices that have not been approved by the Ministry of Health of Oman.
- Food supplements and "miracle cures" that have not been approved by the relevant authority.
- Used or unsterilised personal-care items.
- Recalled products, items missing required safety markings (CE, GCC, GSO, etc.).
5. Animals and biological material
- Live animals, animal parts, ivory, tortoise shell and other items that violate the Animal Welfare Law and CITES.
- Human remains, organs and bodily fluids.
6. Counterfeit and IP-infringing goods
- Counterfeit, replica or fake-branded goods of any description.
- Items bearing trade marks the seller is not authorised to use.
- Pirated software, counterfeit media (DVD, Blu-ray) and any item infringing the rights of a third party.
7. Fraud and security
- Stolen goods.
- Identity documents, passports, driving licences, government-issued credentials.
- Tools intended primarily for fraud, hacking, network intrusion or surveillance.
- Unauthorised access devices (skimmers, key cloners, cellular interceptors).
8. Hazardous materials
- Compressed gases, flammable liquids, oxidisers, organic peroxides, radioactive materials and items in IATA/IMDG Class 1–9 unless shipped through an approved hazmat carrier and with the buyer's confirmed eligibility.
9. Other
- Currency, securities, redeemable financial instruments and bulk gift cards.
- Items that infringe public order or that the Operator, acting reasonably, considers harmful to the Marketplace, its users or its reputation.
10. Reporting
If you believe a Listing breaches this policy, please email sales@seanoor.market with a link to the listing and a brief description of the suspected breach. We will review reports within forty-eight (48) hours.
